The Disney Afternoon Collection (PS4)

This game is available on PS4, Xbox, and Steam, I played this game on PS4. Growing up the only Disney games I had made by Capcom are Aladdin and Goof Troop on the Super Nintendo, and I did not get to give Ducktales a try until the remaster dropped years later. Disney has a very rich history of their games, covering a wide range of studios, but one of the first games I bought for my PS4 was the Disney Afternoon Collection, a collection of six classic Disney Capcom games. This collection includes Ducktales One and Two, Chip And Dale Rescue Rangers One and Two, Darkwing Duck, and Talespin. All of this NES classics in one package.  Each game has a rewind feature, additional modes, and a save state feature on top of the included classic game.

When it comes to a game collection even at full price for the games  included,  considering how much a few of the more rare games in this collection cost, but this game does go on sale often, just like when I got it and it is worth it even more so. The games may be short but they have a ton of replayability, some have co op, while the additional modes like time attack and boss rush also add more content. Each game has time attack, boss rush, as well as a tutorial. As well as a music player, and a gallery to look over.

The games are all in their original forms but with the rewind feature you can find yourself blasting through the whole collection in an afternoon even, as the originals were not the longest games. But they are super fun, and great to just pick up and play. This collection has some games that were super high in price so more people can play them, as well as some great classics. Th assortment is great and it is presented in a good package.

The menus, music, and aesthetic of this collection is fantastic, even the pause menus are full of style and charm. The only unfortunate thing is there is no way to adjust the sound or audio, which would have been nice. The games are super short, and there are a couple small features missing but overall this collection is very solid, and very worth it on sale, recommendable for retro fans at full price, but a guaranteed recommendation for all on sale, which happens often.

Thoughts: The games are short but replayable, solid collection, very well put together, one or two features missing, incredible collection with rare games included in a great package, lots of modes and features, very fun way to spend an afternoon... a Disney Afternoon.
