5 SEGA Franchises I Want To See Come Back

SEGA has such a huge selection of awesome franchises besides Sonic, and sometimes they may get a new entry or remake like Streets Of Rage or Alex Kidd but many are left out. So I decided to pick a few that I think should get a new entry or at least a remaster on modern console so more people can play these games. In no order here are five SEGA series that I think need some more time in the spotlight.

Crazy Taxi

With the release of Taxi Chaos, it shows we all need a new Crazy Taxi game or at least a collection. The amazing music, awesome environment, and great challenges, all bundled together would make for a fun and super awesome collection.

Comix Zone

This game looked and played amazing but was tough as nails, give it a new coat of paint and make it more accessible and we could have a super amazing remake or a game that was a stand out on the SEGA Genesis.

Gunstar Heroes

This game has been on modern consoles, and the team that made it no longer exists but games like Streets Of Rage 4 have been handled by a new team. The amazing, high octane action of this series with its awesome, bright and colorful style deserves a new entry or at least and HD remake.

Jet Set Radio

With Bomb Rush Cyberpunk coming the demand for a new Jet Set Radio, much like Crazy Taxi is evident. This series has had many spiritual successors and games that pay homage to it, but the one that inspired them is due for a come back.

Rhythm Thief

If I had to pick any from this list to get a remake or get a port it would be this one. This game on the 3DS is a prime example of hidden gem and takes rhythm games to new heights with charming characters, a fun story, and fantastic music. The game gave plenty of rhythm games to play, tons of replayability and a great environment to explore. The music was a stand out and many of the tracks are catchy, fun, and well used. The variety in this game was also great, giving a ton of different ideas and control schemes which led to gameplay that did not grow stale while fitting in well with the excellent music. Hopefully a sequel will come some day, or at least a port this game would play wonderfully on switch and more people need to see what  steal this game really is.

Thank you for reading my list, it was fun making it and shows just how much great variety SEGA has in terms of characters and genres.
