Update

To everyone reading this, I hope you are well, life has been quite busy, so sorry for the delay in content recently, but  I do have some fun stuff mapped out for the near future of this blog. Working on this blog has been an absolute treat and I can not wait to share the ideas I have in motion for what is to come, but first a couple updates.

I will not be covering as many Triple A games for some time, keeping up with new releases not only causes me to rush through the games and not enjoy them as much, but also focus on covering them rather then playing them. That being said, new Indie games are fair game because in most cases they are much shorter. That being said I will still cover a newer game from time to time, or a new DLC expansion and so on, but not right away. I want to give myself time to go through something and really think about it before covering it, so no more first impressions or rushed reviews, at least for Triple A games. 

The new focus of this blog in-between covering those larger games with longer run times, the focus is going to be on Indie games and retro games, sometimes in a review but I have a few other fun ways to cover games that I will be trying. I have a few new series in mind, as well as topic discussions and much more to add variety on top of reviews coming soon.

The Pokemon Concierge

 When this show was first announced, I was indifferent. And then it came out and I watched the four episodes they had at the time of this post in one sitting and fell in love with it. The hype around this show is very real, I was blown away by how much I loved this show. Only four episodes and I want more, so why do I love this show so much? Well, that's what this blog post is for. The narrative of this show is fun for all ages but definitely has relatable content for adults while also having fun lessons for all ages. I am not going into detail because I think even a synopsis of this show spoils too much and it is so wonderful. The morals are real and down to earth, the characters are likable and the conflicts are relatable. The writing is fun, wholesome, and very well down, and has a good mix of humor and heartwarming with some great ideas. Tell Your Own Story, Do Your Own Thing: One Thing I Learned From Across The Spiderverse

 This will probably not be the last time I talk about the impact of this film, I keep learning from this incredible film. The visuals, humor, story, characters, and messages of the film are just so close to perfect for me. Let's hang on to that last word, messages. Some may feel that an animated film could never contain deeper meanings or ideas. Still, if they looked outside their opinion, they would see animation as what it truly is, a necessary part of cinema. Animation can go places and bring ideas live action never could, and vice versa, they are both important. When this movie was first released, I saw it on opening day, and I was that excited. I love and adore the first film and the sequel just as much, it did not disappoint.
