Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge

The game I have waited ever so patiently for is finally here. For Gamepass users it is on there, but I wanted to play this on the go so I played this on my Switch. This will be very broad as the game has only been out for less than 48 hours, but I have to say this game is incredible. I will leave as many surprises as possible because this game is one hundred percent worth playing. I only played single player for reasons I will get into momentarily.

This game looks incredible, there are several cutscenes that harken to nostalgia in the best way possible. The presentation is incredible, the game looks and sounds nothing short of amazing. The music is incredible, and I have already listened to the music outside of the game. The sound is incredible when it comes to sound effects, every element of the presentation hits the nail on the head.

This game is like if TMNT IV Turtles In Time had a follow up in the best way possible. Building off of why we loved the original while bringing in elements we have always wanted to see in a game. Not only in the presentation but also the gameplay. The game controls great and there are multiple difficulties to pick from. There are also tons of secrets to this game as well as challenges to bring the player back time and time again.

The game feels about the right length and lasted the perfect amount of time to encourage playing through the whole game in one sitting or just playing a couple levels at a time. Each character to pick from has enough different to warrant trying them out and the game plays as well as it looks and sounds. controls are responsive, the move list is always handy, and the game is very easy to pick up and learn.

The only flaw with this game is it seems the online is unreliable. Some have said it works fine, and I have seen other cases where it barely works, I hope to try couch co-op at some point or even the online with a patch. but even as a single player experience, this game is a must. Gamepass owners have access to it right now, but on Switch it is 25 dollars, but for the quality, the amount of content, and more this game warrants it.

This game is fantastic and nothing short of. I had a blast from start to finish, there are so many secrets, easter eggs and more all wrapped up in a game that never stops being fun. Also the music is nothing short of amazing, not one weak track in that or the rest of the sound presentation. Grab a pizza, if possible grab a friend or two, and see how this game is one shell of a time.
