Stronger Than Ever Before (Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure)

Sometimes music can inspire us, or lift our mood when needed. Sometimes we just need an upbeat song to improve our moods, and this song fits the bill perfectly. This song from the season three premiere episode of Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure is a great way to put a pep in your step, it has for me. This blog is now a stranger to covering the fantastic music from this series and will continue to talk about this great show in many ways. This song is at the tail end of a two-part season premiere, which already had a great song or two in it, being the cherry on top of a great beginning. 

This song has confidence in standing together, making tomorrow better, being strong even if we make mistakes but not letting them define us, and looking forward to the future. This song speaks volumes about moving forward with a bright outlook, not letting the challenges scare us but rather soaring above them as we go from endeavor to endeavor.  The lyrics popping and brimming with confidence and positivity, but acknowledging that we and life itself aren't always perfect, thus not being toxic positivity, but rather a bright outlook within relatable reason. 

The lyrics are catchy and fun to sing along too, working well with the upbeat instrumentals, and being just delightful. Making the song like a piece of candy, short and sweet, but definitely a nice diversion for the day. The lyrics are fun and encouraging, uplifting the one listening to the song, and just adding a dose of much-needed optimism. They work well together, the song has a good pace and flow, not overstaying its welcome, which welcomes repeated listeners if you are someone who loves listening to songs over and over like me. 

A bright outlook of facing challenge after challenge can relate to the listener in so many ways, inspiring and preparing for a day, a week, or even a month full of tasks. A quick listen that is easy to pick up, like a short pep talk, but with good instrumentation and lyrics. Preparing for a day of simple tasks around the house, errands, or other business, this song fits many scenarios like a glove in the best way possible. 

The performances in this song are great, giving moments for quick solos, use of more singers, and tying together to form a memorable group number. Giving moments for singers to stand on their own and work together, embodying the strong message behind the song. Like a breath of fresh air, this song is refreshing, not filled with drama and angst but rather looking forward, while surrounded by friends. When I found this song I looked it up and added it to multiple playlists and have listened to it on its own many times. I find this song catchy and well made, shining and being just fun. I love upbeat songs, and music can explore and enhance many emotions, whether it is sad, angry, or heartbroken. In this case it's happiness and fits well in the context of the show and on its own. This is a listen I recommend in and out of context and even though it is not the most deep song from this show, it is a fun listen. And sometimes we need fun in the form of a fun song to brighten our day, it worked for me and it just might work for you.

The Pokemon Concierge

 When this show was first announced, I was indifferent. And then it came out and I watched the four episodes they had at the time of this post in one sitting and fell in love with it. The hype around this show is very real, I was blown away by how much I loved this show. Only four episodes and I want more, so why do I love this show so much? Well, that's what this blog post is for. The narrative of this show is fun for all ages but definitely has relatable content for adults while also having fun lessons for all ages. I am not going into detail because I think even a synopsis of this show spoils too much and it is so wonderful. The morals are real and down to earth, the characters are likable and the conflicts are relatable. The writing is fun, wholesome, and very well down, and has a good mix of humor and heartwarming with some great ideas. Tell Your Own Story, Do Your Own Thing: One Thing I Learned From Across The Spiderverse

 This will probably not be the last time I talk about the impact of this film, I keep learning from this incredible film. The visuals, humor, story, characters, and messages of the film are just so close to perfect for me. Let's hang on to that last word, messages. Some may feel that an animated film could never contain deeper meanings or ideas. Still, if they looked outside their opinion, they would see animation as what it truly is, a necessary part of cinema. Animation can go places and bring ideas live action never could, and vice versa, they are both important. When this movie was first released, I saw it on opening day, and I was that excited. I love and adore the first film and the sequel just as much, it did not disappoint.
