Why I Love Streets Of Rage 4

This game was on my radar from the moment it was announced and when it came out it did not disappoint. Having only discovered the series in recent years, I am glad I played them because Streets Of Rage 1, 2, and 3 all hold up and a great time with friends or solo. The music, the high energy and great gameplay make this series a staple in the beat em up genre, and this new installment is no different. I have played this game countless times, so time to cover this game and new DLC to discuss if the new add ons are worth it. Time to pick up the controller and see why this game is a must for any beat em up fan.  This game plays and feels amazing, it controls great and throws you in right away into the gameplay. I Loved The Sonic Symphony

The Sonic The Hedgehog Symphony was an event that sent chills up my spine. It was fun from start to finish, covering a large range of the mascot's history. Classic tunes to ones from recent games made for an unforgettable experience and it is on YouTube for people to watch whenever they like, over and over again. Just like the Undertale concert there is no additional fee to enjoy this well put together, well organize show.  Every performer giving their all and it showed, from song performances with singing to purely orchestrated pieces, every song came to life. With gameplay shown alongside it to add an extra layer of charm and artwork made for this event as well, a ton of work clearly went into this. From start to finish I was grinning ear to ear, and I am so glad I can come back to this over and over, making for great background music to fire me up when working on a project or cleaning.  With it also being available at no additional cost is a perfect way to ring in the blue blur

Sonic Colors Ultimate

I am sure you have heard plenty of this game lately. Glitches being shown off, reviews bashing it, and a generally negative opinion. And I wish I could say the same, I was geninually looking forward to this game, and planned this whole months theme for this game and one more that is coming soon. This will not be a review or rather a recounting of my experiences.  When this game was announced I was excited not only to revisit it but also to own it. I only owned the DS version when I was younger and I remembered it fondly, renting the Wii version from time to time, and even though it was short I had a blast. This made me optimistic for more Sonic ports and remasters or even other SEGA franchises. But what greeted me before I even got my hands on the game were reports of a buggy mess and I was willing to give the game a try myself. What I found only saddened me. I could not finish this game due to glitches, and frame stuttering, and I played on PS4 because I thought it would perform bett

Bonus Post: Good Vibes Gaming (Creator Spotlight)

Today I wanted to take a small break from all the SEGA shenanigans and highlight a group on YouTube that really deserves some attention. A group called Good Vibes Gaming helmed by Steve Bowling, Derrick Bitner, and Ash Paulsen, from news and reviews to fun discussions this channel will not only keep you informed but also entertained. This group has not only brought me news but also so many laughs and smiles. I have only been following for a couple months, and I always feel so welcome and so glad to be there. Their featured show is called Today's News Tonight which is a fun and entertaining look at gaming news, with awesome guests. This is not their only show though, this channel has a great variety of content. This channel also has founding principles that not only spread positivity but also create a welcoming environment for anyone who comes across them.  This channel focuses on giving content without pushing its creators or guests, thus creating an environment of positivity whil

Is Ristar Worth Remembering?

As I combed through the Sega Genesis Classics Collection on my Switch, I say a large number of titles that started and ended their runs on the console. Some like Gunstar Heroes, Streets Of Rage, And Golden Axe would get a few more entries but some ended their stories on the console where they began. One title that caught my eye was Ristar, though getting many ports and added to many collections over the years including this one. This series has only seen one entry, released right before SEGA was transitioning to the 32X, many say this game was swept under the new consoles release to catch notice, should it be remembered? Let's find out. This game has you in control a star with arms and legs who must defend the galaxy from evil space pirates named Ristar. You go from planet to planet doing a stage or two, defeating a mini boss, and then facing the main boss before moving on. You can take a few hits that can be replenished and you can get a score based on a few different factors, an
