I Played Pokémon Puzzle League For The First Time

You can't play them all, no matter how many games you pick up some will just slip through the cracks or into the backlog. This game was one that I have always wanted to try and when it was added to the N64 Online Expansion pass, I had to give it a go. A puzzle game in the style of Panel De Pon or Tetris Attack, later rebranded to Planet Puzzle League, this is the only Pokémon game I know that is directly tied to the anime, and I do enjoy a good puzzle game, so it is time to see what I have missed and if I can at least be the very best like no one ever was when it comes to puzzles. I am not going to try when it comes to regular Pokémon have you seen the competitive scene? That is nothing short of crazy and I have nothing but respect for people who can do that, but for me, not so much.  This game has you flipping blocks, and sometimes dropping them to match three or more of the same block and get combos. The screen will rise for both you and your opponent, and if one side or the othe

One Piece Burning Blood (PS4)

I have been watching, listening too, and been a fan of One Piece for quite some time, I am even thinking of diving into the manga at some point as well. This anime is one of my all-time favorites, it's not perfect but the emotional, comedic, and action highs outweigh the lows in spades for this long running anime. One Piece has had plenty of videogames, some I have touched on for the blog and podcast but never dedicating a full post or episode too. But since a good friend of mine who I share a love of this anime with is getting married, I asked him to pick a game to cover, and that is today's post, One Piece Burning Blood. An arena-based fighter that I am very familiar with that I have poured a good few hours into. Revisiting this game should be an adventure so let's dive in. The story mode is the weakest aspect of this game. The reason I say this is because it covers one story arc only from multiple perspectives. This is a fine idea in concept but when there so many stage

Multiversus

A little over a week ago this game became available to the public, though I got in a little early. The highly anticipated fighting, Super Smash Brothers style fighting game starring many of Warner Brothers properties is here. And best of all it is free, so after playing the game alone and with friends I am here to share my thoughts. I will share what I would like to see added in a future post but for now, these are my initial thoughts on Multiversus. Let's dive in!  I think I will start with the negatives because the positives outweigh them in spades. The drip feed of in game currency is very slow, unlocking characters will take a lot of time and dedication, I know this is to encourage using real world money. If you count the battle pass, the costumes, and the other fun add ons then I feel like making it easier to unlock fighters would have been a good compromise. The other problem was some characters were available in early access were then locked and swapped with characters that
