Great Games To Play With Friends Online

With the holidays still in full swing, and with some current events whether a friend is living far away, or they might be busy, I decided to make a list of some great games to play online with friends. This list is in no particular order just games that are great to play with friends long distance. These are the games that helped us pass the time together even when we weren't in the same room here are some games that might be worth playing with your friends online. Mario Party Super Stars The online in this works great, the classic Mario Party gameplay with up to three friends. Tons of minigames, great presentation and awesome music. Minigame modes as well give plenty of content to play with far away friends. Drawful, Use Your Works, And Any Jackbox Party Pack If you have a phone or a web browser, then only one person needs this game for all to play. From drawing games, to making jokes, to trivia. These games all are great for multiplayer, the lobbies are larger so a bigger group

It's An Anime Holiday Special!

Sometimes to brighten up the season you need a breath of fresh air, so I decided to look at a ton of anime games to really get into the holiday season mood. So many so that I covered some here, and some on the Late Night Sprites podcast which can be heard where most podcasts are found. So instead of a Christmas game or something with a big deep and emotion story, I am going to yell a bunch, discover some hidden power, rock out to some awesome music and go on some adventures. Here are so Anime games you may find under the tree or pick up yourself based on popular series, that may or may not be worth your time. Let's see if it was worth mine. Here and on the podcast it is my first ever Holiday special, because nothing screams family, friendship, and goodwill like anime-based games.  If you want more then check out the podcast, these are two pieces of one big episode, so here are a few bonuses. Dragon Ball Z Kakorot This open world RPG is so much fun. It is wrapped up with not just D

Indie Game Holiday Buyers Guide (Vol. 2)

As the Winter sales approach or you may find yourself receiving a gift card or some holiday spending money, I decided to find even more Indie games to recommend. Some of these are a tad more recent, while some just might be on sale for a great price. Here in no particular order are some great games that would make a great gift to someone else or yourself... again! Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon Puzzle and rouge like fans unite. The shovel wielding hero returns in an amazing puzzle game. The graphics and music are fantastic, and there are tons of accessibility options. You can make the game as lenient or challenging as you would like, filled with wonderful characters both familiar and new. This game may be new, but it is a fantastic time, especially for fans of Shovel Knight. This was a great holiday present.  Mighty Gunvolt Burst Fans of Mega Man may be wary of the name Mighty NO. 9 but this is different. A retro style, arcade game that is a fantastic time. Great music and fun graphics

Spider-Man Miles Morales More Than Just An Add On

Image
Image Source: PlayStation Dot Com With a new Spider-Man movie fast approaching with "Spider-Man: No Way Home" I thought I would talk about one of my favorite games from last year as well as one of my favorite superhero games. This game is nothing short of AMAZING and without diving too deep because I think you should play it; I am ready to swing in and tell you why. The game that proceeded it was one of my favorite games and the reason I own a PS4, when this game was announced for PS4 alongside its launch on PS5 I was ecstatic and could not wait to play. This game takes place after Insomniac Studios hit Marvel's Spider-Man, so if you have not played either even though there is a movie to catch new players or people who may need a slight refresher up to speed, I recommend just playing the first game, it is incredible. This game set during the holiday season sees Miles Morales taking control as New York's only Spider-Man. You will take on the main story, side missions

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season One and Fall Guys Season 6

Within the past week, as of the date of this post, two major battle royale games have gotten updates, Fortnite and Fall Guys, I enjoy both of these games, with friends and solo. So, I decided to dive in and try both out to see what was new. Going first with Fortnite! Fortnite Chapter 3 Season One To begin all of this was of course the end of season event which entails, a fun section with light gameplay and a big cinematic before the servers go down and the map changes. Heralding in this massive change was a new character called The Foundation who not only is played by Dwayne The Rock Johnson but looks like him, raised eyebrow and all. It was a fun time and waiting for us when the game turned back was a flipped island with so many new weapons and locales. Spider-Man is here for the battle pass, and he brought The Daily Bugle with him as a locale to visit, among many other spots mostly with a winter theme as we head into the holidays. There is also a new mechanic of sliding which is sup
