I Payed 40 Dollars For Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo (Capcom Fighting Collection First Impressions)

Retro collections are everywhere now adays, from The Disney Afternoon, to one of SEGAs many compilations of games so we can have yet another way to play Sonic The Hedgehog 2. But one collection that was a massive surprise was the announcement of the Capcom Fighting Collection, which hosted ten games and brought the long slumbering Darkstalkers series back into the public eye. This, Sonic Orgins, and the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection are making this year a good one for retro compilation titles. Over on the podcast that shares the name of this blog and is hosted by yours truly I will be covering Sonic Origins but here I want to give my first impressions of The Capcom Fighting Collection, the games I played for this are Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, Cyberbots, Hyper Street Fighter 2 The Anniversary Edition, and Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix. I plan on trying the other games in the collection, but these were the ones I was most excited to play, so here are my fir

For Gamepass users it is on there, but I wanted to play this on the go so I played this on my Switch. This will be very broad as the game has only been out for less than 48 hours, but I have to say this game is incredible. I will leave as many surprises as possible because this game is one hundred percent worth playing. I only played single player for reasons I will get into momentarily.  This game looks incredible, there are several cutscenes that harken to nostalgia in the best way possible. The presentation is incredible, the game looks and sounds nothing short of amazing. The music is incredible, and I have already listened to the music outside of the game. The sound is incredible when it comes to sound effects, every element of the presentation hits the nail on the head.  This game is like if TMNT IV Turtles In Tim

Update

Hello everyone and thank you for reading. Working on this blog the past year has been awesome, but to keep it awesome I am going to be making some slight changes. First off I am still going to try and post at least once a week but I am not going to hold myself to that schedule. Also sometimes I may have a small period of silence because I am working on covering a bigger thing or I am resting and preparing for the next post. There is still going to be content, just sometimes I might need a little more time to cover said game if it takes longer.  Also the Mario Strikers Battle League review that I mentioned in the podcast is going to be delayed as I am going to wait for all the content to drop on the game, because at the moment there is not a lot to cover. But instead I have another review coming very soon. Thank you so much for reading, and have a super amazing day!

Revisiting: Mario Golf Super Rush

With Mario Strikers Battle League almost here, I decided to revisit the plumber's last sports-based outing on the Switch. Last time I played this game I found myself not very engaged and dropping it quickly, I found more entertainment in older titles or different sports games. I even on the podcast looked at and compared Super Rush to the counterpart on the 3DS and preferred the handheld outing over the more recent one. I did recently find myself picking this game back up to play with friends, so I am going to give this game another chance and see if my opinion as changed. Since the game launched, we have gotten new maps and new characters which is nice, giving the game more of a complete feel, even if it made me question why some of this content was not in the base game from the start. Still I am going to start with the single player offerings and then move on to the multiplayer as the latter is the one I have spent way more time on. Starting with the single player offerings ther

Game OR Pass: Floppy Knights

Welcome to another edition of game or pass where I play games on game pass or a set amount of time or to completion and decide if it is worth your time or if it is on a different console, or removed from Gamepass, worth your money. The title I am looking at today was worked on by some of the crew who worked on last week's post Dicey Dungeons. But instead of dice in a roguelike world this time it is card games with a tactical spin. Time to see if this game is worth your time or was mine. This game has you using a device known as a floppy knight, used from a floppy disc, when placed on the field this is your title character and thing done before a single move is made. The first character you play loses all HP and is defeated then it is time to start the battle over again and hit the drawing board. You can summon other characters later on who can lose all HP but the title character has to stay in to keep the game going. Use cards to move, attack, call on other characters and so on, e
